This is an in progress shot before the kiln firing of Drawing Series 1/2. The designs were conceptualized by music and poetry, This specific pattern was inspired on by Marvin Gayes music. Using a variation of slips and wax designs, liquid glaze ink was applied onto a pre glazed body. The piece had yet to be fired in the kiln and was covered in a heavy coat of wax and liquid glaze ink was filled into the carved patterns.
