This was the final outcome of an experiment series I’d worked on. The designs were conceptualized by music and poetry, This specific pattern was inspired on by Marvin Gayes music. Using a variation of slips and wax designs, liquid glaze ink was applied onto a pre glazed body. The piece had yet to be fired in the kiln and was covered in a heavy coat of wax and liquid glaze ink was filled into the carved patterns. This was the final result.
