    Face Lamp

This is the nearly finished product of a lamp from a series I’d worked on. The series incorporated metal, welding, light, as well as my own bodily form into the work. The lamp shade is constructed on multiple different sections of my own face, welded using a mold-cast of my body.

    Ceramic Lamp Shade

This video showcases a lamp shade and the custom apparatuses I fabricated for a mixed media project involving metal, welding, ceramics, and light. This is a test fitting for the metal prior to the lamp shade being glazed and both pieces being affixed to the main body.

    Coil Lamp Shade

This lamp shade was from a mixed media project involving metal, welding, and light. After construction and glazing the piece proved to be too heavy for the custom mounting system I’d fabricated. Instead the coil lamp shade was tied with rope and turned into a unique hanging basket.
