This bowl is from a series of pottery I created where I experimented with slip colors, patterning, and surface texture. The slip was applied through pouring onto the vessel while on a moving wheel or directly by hands covered in slip. For this vessel no trimming occurred and the slip was only poured onto the piece and allowed to dry without being manipulated by hand.
